Ecole Ousmane Sembène is a private school in the poor suburb of Guinaw Rails, Pikine, near Dakar, the capital of Senegal (West Africa). 550 students from age 4 to 14 attend this school. This blog records the donations and other actions to help the school. If you want to help, please contact me!
I'm a French/German mother of three and I lived in Dakar, Senegal, for two years (2007 and 2008). I am now back in France, where I work as a free-lance translator, but Senegal is not forgotten and I am still devoted to helping the people there.
I have decided to start a blog for my sponsorship of Ecole Ousmane Sembène in Pikine, Dakar, Senegal. It will make it easier to post pictures and updates. Also the donators can find out at any time what has been done with their money.
